Chennai: Priya finished school and started work, almost immediately, as a telephone operator. “It was so boring to sit around all day and answering calls so I started looking out for something else to do” says the vivacious 21- year- old. She spent three months learning how to drive and is now a driver from an NGO. “This is much more interesting” she says. “I get to drive all kind of vehicles and meet different people everyday.”
