	Home nursing The objective of this 4-month course is to teach the women to have the basic knowledge needed to care for sick patients recovering at home and elders requiring home geriatric care. Students who complete the course requirements receive a Certification in Home Nursing Care. There is a shortage of qualified professionals in this field and immediate employment is virtually assured. During the first two months of the course, qualified nurses teach the fundamental principles of home nursing in a classroom setting. The third month exposes the trainees to real life situations at the Dr. Rangarajan Memorial Hospital. The fourth month is devoted to on-the-job training at old age homes and at the adoption centre for pediatric care.		Nursing the sick

	Alumni meet An Alumni Meet for Review is held on 30th May '09 , many trainees came & shared their testimonies, which were motivating to the new trainees. The Committee members also had an interactive session with the trainees and clarified the doubts of the trainees. The Salary for the trainees has been reviewed with effect from 1st April'09 . Mr.Subbaiyan spoke to them on their duties & rights. Press people from Indian Express & Dina Mani covered the event. A group song & a group dance were presented by the trainees as entertainment.. Mr.Chandrasekar, Secretary of Tamil Nadu Foundation gave a motivational talk to the trainees.
