ION FOUNDATION has been supporting the Driving Program at ANEW since 2021. Over the last 4 years, Ion Foundation has sponsored 90 beneficiaries to become full-fledged autorickshaw/car drivers. The project has resulted in about 70-75% placements, and the women earn around Rs.1000 to Rs.1500 per day, driving for 8-10 hours per day. This has given the women financial independence to support themselves and their families and have a better quality of life.
